In the late 1940’s passenger airline transport was booming and there were a lot of new jobs to go with it. This classic video shows some of the jobs and requirements (“stewardesses” had to be single for one) of the time. Most of this film was shot at Chicago’s Midway Airport. no cell phones ,and computers, actual people working and and doing every thing that it takes to book flights. i wasn’t born until 1964 but i see enough video’s and document’s recorded.the technology has really surpassed the time that i have been around and continues to really amaze me daily
