This is a classic promotional video for Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) done back in 1970. Nothing like having some cheesy 1970s music while being able to look at retro airliners and LAX.

You AirlineReporter guys should start a campaign to have LAX relocate the trees that are north of Imperial Highway that DIRECTLY interfere with spotting, photography and viewing from the popular Imperial Hill observation point!

In the mid-1970s, I was stationed out at Norton Air Force Base – approximately 60 miles east of LAX – which gave me the opportunity to frequently spot from Imperial Hill. Those trees, back then, were NEVER an impediment to viewing and photography; as they were NEVER seen through my viewfinder; NEVER seen in any frames I shot! Now, those trees have grown too high and it’s time for them to go.
I hope you agree!?
